Mountainland Association of Governments provides meeting space and staff assistance to the Utah Valley Trails Committee. The purpose of the committee is to help define and guide trail-building efforts throughout the area; provide citizen input to government agencies; and help solve the many issues that arise in building trails. This committed group consists of residents, agency representatives, business leaders, and other interested parties.

Volunteers Building TrailMany communities in the valley also have citizen's trail advisory groups that help set the goals and priorities for trail development. These groups also help solve problems, make contacts with property owners and government agencies, plan events, and perform countless other tasks that help get trails on the ground.

Volunteers also make vital contributions to trail construction and maintenance, providing "sweat equity" toward the completion of our trail network.

Contact your local representative or Jim Price, Mountainland Association of Governments at 801-229-3848 to see how you can get involved.
