Provo River Parkway, Provo
Non-motorized trails and pathways play a pivotal role in outdoor activities in the state of Utah.

They provide enhanced opportunities for recreation, exercise, and transportation.  More importantly they provide an alternative to vehicular travel.  Trails and Pathways connect neighborhoods and provide links to and from public facilities, such as: parks, schools, libraries, pools, ball fields and others.  There are many non-motorized trails throughout the Wasatch and its communities.  The Wasatch Loop Trail will provide a new experience in connectivity and opportunity.

The trail system will have broad appeal to anyone from the outdoor enthusiast to someone seeking a leisurely stroll.  Paved and gravel paths will connect rural and urban communities together, providing a unique experience for each traveled mile.

The Wasatch Loop Trail will appeal to all.  It will attract visiting travelers and satisfy locals who want to define their own experience.  It is for families, friends and the solo adventurer.  It is for those who favor fine accommodations and for those who want to “rough it.”  It is for those who want to see the sights of their surrounding communities, as well as those who just want to explore.

It is for those seeking relaxation, recreation and for those wanting a new means to get from point A to point B.  It is for us all, as there is something along the trail for everyone.
