Mountainland MPO Regional Planning Committee...
is the board of the MPO and is comprised of local elected officials in Utah County, a commissioner from the Utah State Transportation Commission, and the Utah Transit Authority and Utah Division of Air Quality board members. An invitation to the committee meetings is extended to the Federal Highway Administration, Utah County Legislative Delegation, and Utah Motor Carriers Association. The public is always welcome at the meetings. The committee review and approve the Unified Planning Work Program, Regional Transportation Plan, Mountainland Transportation Improvement Program, air quality policy, and other transportation documents and plans.
Mountainland Technical & Planner Advisory Committee...
advises and makes recommendations to the Mountainland Regional Planning Committee on technical transportation and land use issues. The committee is comprised of engineers, planners, and technicians who serve as staff to local, state, and federal government. The MPO staff serves as liaison between the advisory and policy committees.
