MAG's Chief Financial Officer Celebrates 45 years

When Steve Johnson began working at Mountainland Association of Governments, the average cost of a new house was $27,000 and gas was 55 cents a gallon.

Steve, who has served as MAG's chief financial officer during his tenure, celebrated the anniversary of 45 years of service on September 1, 2017. He was recognized at the MAG Executive Council meeting on Thursday, October 26. He received a recognition of service award from MAG Executive Director Andrew Jackson and American Fork Mayor Hadfield.

"Steve exemplifies what MAG is all about- quietly and smoothly going about doing great things," said Andrew Jackson. "During his 45 years as MAG's chief financial officer, he has processed through nearly half a billion dollars in budget and contracts, and he can show you where every penny has been spent."
